The first Glocester Scarecrow Festival was held a short time ago in 2017 under the direction of Mark Rechter, the Chepachet Grange #38 and the Glocester Libraries. The festival was well received by the community and for the next two weeks the fun scarecrow creations stood guard along Main St. to shoo away the crows and welcome visitors.
